Who We Are

Our Town Winnetka is a movement of long-time Winnetka residents and active members of village leadership — founded in the fall of 2024 ahead of the Winnetka Fall Town Hall. We love our community, and we believe it can do better through better governance, greater transparency, and broader participation.

Why We Exist

Too many important decisions — about our beaches, our downtown, the Post Office site, our taxes, and who governs us — are made with too little information reaching too few residents. We cut through the noise, check the facts, and give you what you need to make informed decisions and have an informed voice.

How We Work

• Your Money — what governance is costing your household.
• Your Time — what delay and process have taken away from you.
• Your Safety — whether the basic stuff is working.
• Your Investment — whether what you put in is protected and grown.
